Good news is finally coming to the park that everyone can agree needed work, Walt Disney Studios at Disneyland Paris!
Today Disney’s CEO Bob Iger announced plans for a huge 2 Billion Euro expansion that is set to include new areas based on Star Wars, Marvel and Frozen.
It looks like the Walt Disney Studios park will be getting a mini version of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, A Marvel Studios area and Kingdom of Arendelle area.
The multi-year development will roll out in phases beginning in 2021, significantly expanding the Walt Disney Studios Park. In addition to the three new areas, the creative vision includes a new lake, which will be the focal point for entertainment experiences and will also connect each of the new park areas.
This is phenomenal news and to say I am excited is an understatement.
Tower of Terror appears to be staying in its current format (based on looking at the concept art) and it would also appear that Alien Swirling Saucer from Toy Story Land in Disney’s Hollywood Studios is on the way.
