It’s official people! Disney confirmed at Comic-Con last week that Guardians of the Galaxy are set to takeover Tower of Terror permanently at Disney’s California Adventure and Dan and I begin this weeks podcast by discussing our thoughts on this change.
You can view our extended coverage of the story here but also watch the video reveal below:
AbracadaBar First Look at Disney’s Boardwalk
We discuss the first look we got of AbracadaBar this week thanks to Disney and reveal the official story on how the bar came to be.
You can check out the full story in the podcast or in my blog post from earlier in the week here.
Living with the Land Moves to Tier 2 FastPass at Epcot
Very exciting news for me this week as Living with the Land moved to be a Tier 2 FastPass which means it is no longer alongside Soarin’ Around the World, Frozen Ever After and Test Track. You can find out more on exactly what this means here.
Chessington’s World of Adventure to Close Bubbleworks After 26 Years
Shocking news for fans of the classic Bubbleworks attraction as Chessington confirmed that after 26 years it would be closing.
Unsurprisingly, Dan and I don’t feel a great sense of loss for a UK attraction but nevertheless we chat about the impact this has had on the UK over the years. You can see exactly when Bubbleworks is due to close here.
Three Restaurant Stories at Walt Disney World
Dan and I discuss three different restaurant stories at Walt Disney World including details on PizzeRizzo becoming official at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Chef Art Smith’s Homecoming opening at Disney Springs and first details on The Polite Pig restaurant which is to open in 2017 at Disney Springs.
Early Morning Magic at Disney’s Hollywood Studios
Dan and I discuss our thoughts on Disney’s Hollywood Studios charging $69 for an hour early access to the park with just two attractions available (Star Tours and Toy Story Midway Mania).
More on the implications of this and everything available in this hour in our blog post here.
Aladdin the Musical Review
To end this weeks podcast I talk through my recent visit to watch the Disney production of Aladdin at London’s West End!
