Disney are working on two massive expansions to two of my favourite resorts on property, Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort and Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort. Here’s the lowdown on the expansion plans for each resort.
Disney’s Coronado Springs Expansion
Disney are looking to add a brand new tower to the resort which will result in a further 500 rooms being added. Thew new tower will overlook lake Lago Dorado and will offer a new rooftop dining experience and panoramic views of fireworks from the Disney parks.
Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort Expansion
While Caribbean Beach isn’t receiving any additional rooms, Disney are adding new waterfront dining and retail shopping areas in the Centertown marketplace area of the resort.
No word on when these refurbishments and expansions are expected to be completed but this perhaps does put those gondola rumours to bed…
