Yesterday Magic Kingdom welcomed a brand new princess to the parks in a typical Disney way, a Royal Induction! Princess Elena of Avalor arrived at the park with singers, performers and was welcomed by Cinderella herself. You can check out the awesome video:
Elena marks the very first Disney Princess inspired by Latin cultures and I believe also the first to be officially inducted at the Magic Kingdom without a movie (she appears in an animated show on Disney Junior). I like how in recent years Disney has really been embracing cultures from across the world.
Princess Elena of Avalor will appear several times a day on the Cinderella Castle stage performing the song “My Time”.
Ryan has been attending theme parks since as long as he can remember and his first proper memory comes from when he was just three years old sitting in Main Street USA drinking a Nesquik milkshake from a carton while the piano was being played outside Casey’s Corner.
