Earlier in the month we reported that the Disney Springs Characters in Flight balloon was getting a replacement and that this was something that needed to happen every few years…
We also discussed that Disney may well change the design of the balloon to fit more into the new theme of Disney Springs and it would appear that Disney have done just that.
Behold, the new Characters in Flight balloon:

As you can see, Disney has completely removed any sign of a Disney character from the balloon and instead had tried to fit this new blue balloon into Disney Springs a bit better. While it isn’t perhaps the sight that it once was, it does work better in the surrounding area.
