After Cirque du Soleil: La Nouba closed it’s doors on December 31st, 2017, we’ve been waiting to hear more details about the new show.
Well today at the D23 Disney Parks Panels, it was revealed that for the first time, Walt Disney Imagineering and Walt Disney Animation Studios have joined forces with Cirque du Soleil for the first time ever to create a brand new show.
The new show will combine Disney’s storytelling abilities with Cirque du Soleil’s amazing showmanship. This could mean that we’ll be seeing some Disney characters make an appearance at the new Cirque du Soleil show.
As for when you can see this new performance, it was announced that previews will begin on March 20th, 2020 with the world premier taking place on April 17th, 2020.
After seeing La Nouba a few years ago for the first time, I personally can’t wait to see what Disney and Cirque du Soleil have come up with.
