We thought we might have a bit longer with the tower but the iconic tower was removed overnight on Thursday as part of Toy Story and Star Wars expansions.
Opening on May 1st 1989 I will always remember the tower as one of the icons that represented Walt Disney World the most and I will miss seeing it on my next trip.
While it is gone for now, who knows, maybe one day we will see it again..
