As we speculated in a post recently on the announcement of the NBA Experience, Disney have confirmed that as of 2016, DisneyQuest will be closing for good!
Opening on June 19, 1998 DisneyQuest has housed 5 floors of indoor games and fun since then. Unfortunately, Disney’s great plan of opening similar venues up all over America didn’t work and DisneyQuest in Orlando was the last remaining of the ventures. It is a great shame to see it go but Disney need to update and move onto something new, closing it down when Disney Springs launches makes a lot of sense.
The replacement, NBA Experience will be one-of-a-kind and will feature hands-on activities that will put families and guests right into the middle of NBA game action.
