Following on from the success of the Diamond Celebrations at Disneyland (that draw to a close in September), Disney has announced that the immensely popular Paint the Night Parade will have its last show on September 5th.

It is a great shame to see such a popular show close after only debuting last year for the Diamond Celebration at the resort and despite crowds flocking to see performances, (sometimes twice a night) it would seem Disney are pushing forwards with the closure. While at this stage Disney have remained silent about a nighttime replacement for the parade, I would think they would look to replace it with something to keep crowds entertained.
A lot of people assume that the closure in Disneyland could mean that the parade will head to Walt Disney World for a while and this would certainly be welcomed by WDW guests. Perhaps a swap of nighttime parades is in order for Disneyland and the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World?
