Its official, Disney Springs will be the first location at Walt Disney World to make the use of drones in a show. Announced today, a holiday show is coming very soon to the waterfront of Disney Springs.
This follows recent news that the FAA granted Disney the rights to fly drones over the property and while I know there are a lot of sceptics out there, I am ALWAYS excited by Disney using new and innovative technology at the parks.

At this time there has been no formal announcement of what this show is going to be called, or when we will see it begin. That being said, the announcement on this is likely to be very soon given this is a holiday 2016 show.
Now that Disney are effectively testing the use of drones in this show, expect to see their use grow across the other parks, I wonder if we will see the rumoured drone additions to Illuminations: Reflections of Earth?
