Love it or hate it, the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror is closing at Disneyland and will be replaced with Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission BREAKOUT next Summer.
In the meantime, Disney has confirmed that the last date to ride the attraction in its current form is going to be January 2nd 2017.
That’s not all, Disney are introducing ‘Late Check-Out’ from September 9th through to Halloween on October 31st.
When the sun goes down at the park, the Tower of Terror will go into Late Check-Out where the attractions lights will be out throughout the entire attraction! I have always wanted to ride in complete darkness and this gives guests the opportunity to do just that.
Disney are also adding unique photo opportunities during this time in front of the attraction and will be putting on special performance by the Silver Lake Sisters.
While this only runs until Halloween, Disney has promised to announce more special events for the Tower of Terror before it closes on January 2nd!
