Despite the huge backlash from many fans, Disney closed Tower of Terror for good earlier this week at Disney’s California Adventure.
Work is already underway on the replacement Guardians of the Galaxy attraction and to help build the excitement, Disney has released concept art of the cast member costumes.
Cast members at Guardians of the Galaxy Mission Breakout will supposedly be under the employment of The Collector. Upon entering the queue they will be sending guests into the building so that they can look upon the treasures inside. The the most recent addition to the collection are the Guardians of the Galaxy themselves and you join them just as the breakout begins!
I have to say, I love the look of these new cast member costumes, they really do feel like they have come straight from a Marvel comic or film. Despite the fact I am still sad to see Disney close Tower of Terror, I would be lying if I was to say I wasn’t excited about Disney turning my favourite Marvel movie into an attraction.
