Busch Gardens is hosting the 3rd annual 5K run for the fund which raises money for SeaWorld and Busch Gardens Conservation efforts and it takes place on January 20th.
The race is open to everyone and you can sign up now, pricing is modelled based on the date you sign-up:
- $30 per person: December 1, 2016 – January 18, 2017
- $35 per person: January 19-20, 2017
You can run, jog or walk but you must keep up a pace of 16 minutes per mile to be able to take part.
Registration to the event includes a voucher for a discounted $25 Busch Gardens admission which is valid until May 29th 2017. Everyone taking part will also get a race t-shirt, medal, race bib with timing chip and some refreshments at the finishing line.
There will be animal and character appearances throughout the course and the Busch Gardens Moroccan Village will be open afterwards exclusively for runners.
