Following on from the announcement that Tokyo Disneyland would be getting a brand new Beauty and the Beast area alongside a shop, restaurant and brand new attraction, Disney have also announced a new Big Hero 6 attraction!
While we don’t know an awful lot at this stage, we do know the attraction is going to be housed in Tomorrowland and that it looks to be some kind of spinning ride. Check out the concept art below to see just why a spinning ride can be assumed:
As a result of both this new attraction and the new Beauty and the Beast area in Fantasyland, Tomorrowland’s StarJets and the Grand Circuit Raceway are both going to be closing in the future to make way for these new attractions.
I really love Big Hero 6 and an attraction based on the movie is only ever going to be a good thing, it is just a shame they couldn’t have done a bit more than a simple spinning ride.
