When Disney announced that Toy Story Mania was getting a third track back in March to help with what is arguably the busiest attraction in the whole of Walt Disney World.
According to WDW Magic, the expected opening date of the third track may be moving from late 2016 to late 2015 and would hopefully bring some much needed capacity to the attraction during the holiday season.
According to rumours, the reason why this extreme date change may be possible is because late 2016 is when the attraction will be remodelled for Toy Story Land, something which involves switching the entrance of the attraction to the back of the building.
I really hope these rumours are true as Toy Story Mania is also one of the very best attractions that WDW has on offer and it makes sense as to why the attraction is always busy. We tend to take the approach that if we can’t get a FastPass for the ride then we don’t ride it simply because it is just too busy, hopefully this will change with the addition of the third track!
