I have my fingers and toes crossed that this rumour is true and that we see a renaming of the area in which MuppetVision 3D sits.
MuppetVision 3D is one of my favourite attractions at Disney’s Hollywood Studios and I really hoped it wouldn’t close in favour of Toy Story or Star Wars themed lands (as much as I am looking forward to both of these). Renaming the area to Muppet’s Courtyard would be all the confirmation I would need that this attraction is safe!
Muppet’s Courtyard
While this is still just a rumour, it would make sense that if Disney are keeping MuppetVision 3D to rename the area that covers the attraction, the old Pizza Planet building and Mama Melrose’s Ristorante.
I would also bet money on Pizza Planet becoming a Muppet’s themed restaurant if this name change does proceed which would be incredible! Even if a Muppet’s themed restaurant is just a counter service restaurant I can imagine the interior looking amazing and the menu being awesome!
What are your thoughts on the area being renamed to Muppet’s Courtyard, were you hoping to see MuppetVision 3D replaced as part of the overhaul of the park or does strong rumours of its safety make you as happy as me?
