Theme parks across Orlando have recently increased security to help keep the parks as safe as humanly possible. SeaWorld, Universal and Walt Disney World now have the following changes implemented:
- Increase in uniformed local law enforcement
- Specially trained vapor wake dogs now patrol certain areas
- Guests will randomly be selected for metal screenings on top of the current bag checks in place
Walt Disney World have implemented addition measures to maintain security:
- The sale of toy guns has been completely stopped throughout Walt Disney World to ensure that cast members aren’t unnecessarily distracted
- Costumes are no longer allowed to be worn the park by guests over the age of 14. While this is a great shame I guess needs must in order to maintain security and keep the parks safe
