One for all you Disney merchandise collectors out there.

In honor of national coffee day, which took place on September 29th in the US (it’s today for us in the UK), the Disney Parks Blog gave a sneak peak at some of the new mugs which will be coming to the Disney Parks this Fall.

There’s going to be a number of new additions to the “Mickey’s Really Swell Coffee” collection, including some Disney themed geometric patterns, a range of stylized Mickey and Minnie Mouse designs, as well as a “Mr” and “Mrs” set for newlyweds.

There will also be new mugs featuring the Fairy Godmother from Cinderella, Humphrey the Bear, and Kronk from The Emperor’s New Groove.

New Disney Parks Mugs

Two new mugs are being added to the Twenty Eight & Main Collection, the first featuring a Big Thunder Mountain Railroad style. While the second mug is based on the Pleasure Island nightclub, the Adventurers Club, and features the club’s official greeting and beverage, “Kungaloosh!”.

And finally, my personal favorites. Disney are releasing a double-sided mug inspired by the Mayor from The Nightmare Before Christmas, which features a removable hat made out of silicone. There’s also a Mr. Potato Head design taken from the queue of the Toy Story Midway Mania ride. And lastly a rather detailed Mary Poppins mug, which uses the design of her umbrella handle as the handle of the mug.

Being a big Toy Story fan, my favorite has to be the Mr. Potato Head design. Not only is he a great character in the films, but the animatronic that the mug is based on is so fantastic in the queue of the Midway Mania attraction. His removable hat would also be a great way to keep your drink warm!

I also appreciate the intricate detail of the Mary Poppins mug, the subtle design and references to the film would make a great item for any fan of the film.

There’s no set release date for these mugs, just that they’ll be available this Fall. However, it looks like some of them are already appearing across the Disney Parks.
