Disney Springs yesterday announced on Twitter that pricing had been updated for the hugely popular (and expensive) Splitsville.
Lets breakdown each of the options:
Walk-in Bowling
The cost of this is dependant on which time of the day you turn up to bowl and of course whether you turn up on weekends or not:
Monday through Friday: Opening until 4pm – $15 per person
Monday through Friday: 4pm until close – $20 per person
Saturday and Sunday: Opening until close – $20 per person
Early Bird Bowling
Opening until 12:30pm – $12 for adults and $8 for kids, per person
While this seems a lot more reasonable keep in mind that there are blackout dates that will apply and public holidays are also likely to not be included with this offer.
Priority bowling – groups 8 or less
If you are willing to make bowling plans 24 hours before you go and to pay a bit extra then you can turn up and get the next available lane (unless the groups who turned up before you also have priority bowling). Prices for this aren’t cheap and are an additional $10 per person on top of the basic walk-in rates.
Lane Reservations – groups 9 or more
If you are planning on going bowling with a big group then Splitsville allows for lane reservations but again these come at quite a high cost.
Opening until 4pm – $100 per lane
4pm until close – $150 per lane
While this seems incredibly expensive (and it is), prices do include bowling and shoe rental.
I can’t speak of the quality of Splitsville as I haven’t been but the prices are rather steep and certainly this is one of the reasons why I haven’t attended despite visiting Disney Springs several times since Splitsville first opened.
The new pricing structure does seem slightly more affordable, especially if you are in a big group but I am still not convinced it is cheap enough to attend in the evenings, the early bird is tempting but then again who goes bowling at 10/11 in the morning?
What do you think of the new pricing structure?
