Kids and big kids alike can now take a journey through the deep dark wood as a brand new river ride takes guests on a journey through The Gruffalo story.
Tim Harrison-Jones, Divisional Director at Chessington World of Adventures Resort, had this to say on the recent opening:
We are absolutely delighted to have opened The Gruffalo River Ride Adventure. We know how popular the wonderful picture book is and are thrilled to be able to take our guests through the story in an interactive and magical way.

The ride features loads of new technology which was created by London studio Seeper including a projection-mapped waterfall, fog screen and hologram-style effects. In addition to this there are lights, sounds and scents that are designed to engross guests in the story even more. Scenes from the recent animated movie based on The Gruffalo have also been used.
The Gruffalo River Ride Adventure is open now at Chessington World of Adventures Resort.
