Disney have finally revealed that Morimoto Asia will be opening its doors for the first time on September 30. This comes at a time where it is rumoured that Downtown Disney will finally be getting its official name change (currently rumoured for October 1st).

Both the interior and exterior of Morimoto Asia looks pretty stunning as does the selection of food and beverages that have been revealed so far.

The restaurant itself is a collaboration between Chef Masaharu Morimoto and the Patina Restaurant Group and will feature dining spaces, lounges, an exhibition kitchen and a sushi bar. The restaurant also stands over two stories tall and features some incredible architecture by STUDIO V.

Right, onto the food, here are some of the items on the menu that are publicly known so far:

  • Moo shu pork
  • Peking duck
  • Lobster chow fun
  • Sour crispy whole fish

The Sushi bar will also feature a 14 seat counter and will offer sushi and sashimi options from around the world. While the entire sushi bar is going to be limited to guests sitting at the bar, some sushi will be available for guests sitting in the main dining area.

Expect to see the full menu as the restaurant opens at I get sight of it.

The drinks are set to include:
