Disney has finally announced the replacement for The Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights at Disney’s Hollywood Studios for 2016.
Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM will begin on November 14th and run until December 31st to celebrate the holiday season at the Studios.
The story for the show beings with Wayne and Lanny from “Prep & Landing” on a search and rescue mission for Santa who is in need of getting back to the North Pole in time for Christmas Eve.
Of course, the guys are going to need some help from some Disney friends…
Disney fims including Mickey’s Christmas Carol, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Pluto’s Christmas Tree, Bambi and Beauty and the Beast will all be included in the show, with a special message from Santa to end everything.
All of this will be projected onto the Chinese Theater alongside fireworks and other effects.
Of course, no Disney event occurs without a Dessert Party nowadays and Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM is no different…
For $69 for adults and $39 for children you get a variety of holiday snacks and beverages as well as 3D HoloSpex glasses that create illusions of gingerbread men, candy canes, ornaments and snowflakes on any bright lights. Think of the LEGO glasses that are used at LEGOLAND.
Star Wars fans fear not, Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular fireworks show will return in 2017.
Despite missing the Osborne Lights a lot since it closed in 2015, this show does sound pretty awesome, what do you think?
