The skyline of Universal’s Islands of Adventure has completely changed with the removal of the Incredible Hulk Coaster as it goes into its lengthy refurbishment phase at the park.
As you can see from the photo below taken by the guys at Inside the Magic, there isn’t much left at all of the coaster:
Pretty much all that is left of the coaster is the famous launch tube though that is expected to be torn down in the coming days.
While not too much is known about the refurbishment at this stage as we said in an earlier post:
New enhancements to its storyline, ride vehicles and overall experience
Judging by the fact the entire coaster has been taken down expect these refurbishments to be huge when the attraction opens again at what is currently an unspecified date in 2016.
Ryan has been attending theme parks since as long as he can remember and his first proper memory comes from when he was just three years old sitting in Main Street USA drinking a Nesquik milkshake from a carton while the piano was being played outside Casey’s Corner.
