Holidays around the world is one of the most popular events at Epcot, occurring annually this years event kicks off on November 27 and runs until December 30 2015.
Guests can experience how different countries around the world experience the holiday season and goes right the way round World Showcase.
Holidays Around the World 2015 Events
There is plenty going on this year and events include:
- Tales of Père Noël in the French Pavilion
- The kind-hearted witch La Befana in the Italian Pavilion
- Performances from the American Music Machine
- Tim Davis from Glee leads the five member group and the American Music Machine will be playing classic and modern Christmas songs that include White Christmas, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer and All I Want for Christmas is You
- Canadian Holiday Voyageurs with a musical edition of holiday traditions in the Canadian Pavilion
- Feliz Navidad celebrate the Mexican traditions in the holiday season in the Mexican Pavilion
- Chinese Lion Dance celebrates the Lunar New Year and Lantern Festival in the China Pavilion
Of course these are just some of the events going on, it is well worth visiting all of the World Showcase Pavilions during the holiday season to see how each of the countries celebrates the holiday season.
On top of all of this there will be performances of the famous Candlelight Processional with changing celebrity guests and IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth gets an additional holiday ending.
Walt Disney World really is an incredible place to visit during the holiday season and Epcot is well worth going to to learn more about different cultures during Christmas and to see the Processional and holiday version of IllumiNations!
