Starting on October 5 2015 Disney will now be allowing guests to experience Wishes in a whole new way with their take on viewing the show from the Seven Seas Lagoon.

According to Disney:

Ferrytale Wishes: A Fireworks Dessert Cruise is the perfect way to experience a break taking view of the Wishes Nighttime Spectacular at Magic Kingdom park. The elegant dessert party aboard the iconic General Joe Potter ferryboat gives guests a unique perspective of the Magic `kingdom nighttime fireworks spectacular from an exclusive spot on Seven Seas Lagoon.

Of course many of you will know that this isn’t something new the Magic Kingdom and guests have been able to hire out the 50-ft yacht to view the fireworks for quite some time. The problem was that prices were ridiculous and it was out of the price range for most guests (myself included).

Disney are hoping that this new offering will encourage more people to view the fireworks in this unique way and currently prices are:

  • Cost is $99 for adults
  • $69 for ages 3 to 9

Slightly more affordable but still a bit pricey for my liking! Of course a dessert cruise wouldn’t be a dessert cruise without the desserts and Disney have promised a number of tasty sounding desserts that will be offered throughout the cruise. These include:

  • The Grand key lime tart
  • Polynesian De-constructed pineapple upside down cake

There are also going to be a number of speciality alcoholic and non-alcholic beverages in souvenir glow glasses available.

Once the cruise begins on October 5 it should be noted it will not be running when the Magic Kingdom is running special events such as the Not-So-Scary Halloween Party and Mickey’s Very-Merry-Christmas Party.

The cruise can now be booked by visiting Disneyworld.com/dine.
