Earlier in the year I reported that DisneyQuest was confirmed to close in 2016 in favour of a new NBA Experience. It would seem that Disney has (for now), changed their minds with confirmation that DisneyQuest will now remain open into 2017.
As of right now, there has been no update as to the progress of the NBA Experience that is due to takeover. I for one hope that Disney scrap plans for the NBA Experience and instead spend the money in updating DisneyQuest, especially considering that contract negotiations between the two companies had collapsed earlier in the year.
Either way, it is great that DisneyQuest is to remain open, if only for slightly longer than originally planned.
