While the Walt Disney World has enjoyed enhanced PhotoPass for quite some time, Disneyland is now playing catch-up with new additions coming soon to their PhotoPass service.
New Ways To Access PhotoPass
Disneyland Resort will be getting a new PhotoPass additions to the website as well as the ability to access photos on the Disneyland mobile app. The website is simply a means to store the photos that have been taken of you and your friends/family and the app will also contain all photos taken of you during your visit.
It is great to see that guests will be able to access photos on the go at Disneyland, we found this service to be really useful when waiting for a reservation for dinner at Walt Disney World and used the time just to look through some of our memories from the day.
You will also be able to purchase and download PhotoPass photos using the Disneyland mobile app.
Animated Magic Shots
Disney are adding new animated Magic Shots to photos meaning you will start to see Disney characters pop up more in your photos. Although unexplained at this time, Disney have said that these animated Magic Shots will allow you to star in your very own video memory.
As part of this, Disney are also adding new PhotoPass photographer locations across the park.
PhotoPass+ One Day
Disney are also adding the ability to purchase PhotoPass+ for one day though there has been no mention of getting in a block of 3 or 5 at this time.
