With Characters in Flight receiving quite the change back in January when characters were completely removed from the design and the balloon getting a new blue paint job, it was only a matter of time until we saw a name change…

The attraction is now called Aerophile or according to the full description on the Walt Disney World Website, Aerophile – The World Leader in Balloon Flight. Catchy right?

The name comes from the company in Paris who custom-built the balloon for Disney and is perhaps due to some form of sponsorship agreement.

A reminder that tickets for Aerophile come at $20 for adults and $15 for kids.

I can’t say I am a huge fan of the new name but at least the attraction remains unchanged.
