SeaWorld Orlando has announced a brand new attraction coming to Aquatica in 2018, Ray Rush.
SeaWorld are promising an attraction like no other, Ray Rush will be almost 60 feet tall and will send riders 33 feet per second!
Rafts will travel through enclosed tube sections, a translucent sphere that spins the raft and an open-air halfpipe that resembles a Manta Ray.
In order to make way for Ray Rush HooRoo Run will close permanently at the end of this month on October 31st, 2017. The construction of this attraction will also result in Walhalla Wave being closed temporarily, it will reopen alongside Ray Rush in the Spring of 2018.
Aquatica is in desperate need of something new in my opinion, last time I was there the park failed to keep me entertained for long so it is good to see something fresh coming in time for the summer season next year!
