Today Walt Disney World bring a new 1 day ticket system into effect at Walt Disney World which changes depending on what time of year you are at the parks.

I have included the new pricing structure with tax included for ease.

There is quite a lot to take in here but keep in mind this is far from everything, this is just the ticketing updates for 1 day tickets, Disney have also updated pricing for 2,3,4 and 5 day passes which I will go into detail on in another post.

Peak Period

This covers any day during the course of the year though this is the price you will expect to pay if you turn up in the middle of say the summer or holiday season.

  • 1 day at the Magic Kingdom – Adult $132.06, Child $125.67
  • 1 day  at Epcot,  Disney’s Hollywood Studios or Animal Kingdom – Adult $121.41, Child $115.02
  • 1 day Park Hopper – Adult $174.66, Child $168.27
  • 1 day with water park fun and more – Adult $200.22, Child $193.83 (2 visits)
  • 1 day Park Hopper with water park and more – Adult $233.24, Child $226.85 (2 visits)

Regular Pricing

The main difference between regular and peak is that there are several dates blacked out whereby you aren’t allowed to visit, this is where peak period pricing comes into effect.

  • 1 day at the Magic Kingdom – Adult $117.15, Child $110.76
  • 1 day  at Epcot,  Disney’s Hollywood Studios or Animal Kingdom – Adult $108.63, Child $102.24
  • 1 day Park Hopper – Adult $170.40, Child $164.01
  • 1 day with water park fun and more – Adult $185.31, Child $178.92 (2 visits)
  • 1 day Park Hopper with water park and more – Adult $218.33, Child $211.94 (2 visits)

Blackout dates for regular pricing

These are the dates blacked out from regular pricing:

  • March 11 – 31
  • April 1 – 2
  • May 27 – 31
  • June 1 – 30
  • July 1 – 23
  • November 20 – 27
  • December 22 – 31 2016

Value Pricing

There are even more blackout dates that apply to value ticketing but with that comes a further price decrease.

  • 1 day at the Magic Kingdom – Adult $111.83, Child $105.44
  • 1 day  at Epcot,  Disney’s Hollywood Studios or Animal Kingdom – Adult $103.31, Child $96.92
  • 1 day Park Hopper – Adult $165.08, Child $158.69
  • 1 day with water park fun and more – Adult $179.99, Child $173.60 (2 visits)
  • 1 day Park Hopper with water park and more – Adult $213, Child $206.61 (2 visits)

Blackout dates for value pricing

These are the dates blacked out from value pricing:

  • March 4 – 31
  • April 1 – 30
  • May 1 – 31
  • June 1 – 30
  • July 1 – 31
  • August 1 – 21
  • September 30
  • October 1 – 31
  • November 1 – 30
  • December 1 – 31 2016

As you can see, pretty much the entire of Summer and the holiday season are a no go on value price tickets.

Water park pricing

Disney have also introduced tiered pricing for water parks for day ticketing though it is slightly easier to understand.
