Stuck on what three Epcot attractions to book for your first three FastPass+ selections? Below we have explored four separate lists for four different types of park guests.

The last in the list is what we at Theme Park Trader would normally look to book at a day at Epcot so that you can see we aren’t simply choosing our favourites in the other lists!

Epcot has a tiered system of booking FastPasses so you can only ever book one of the more popular FastPasses and then two of the less popular attractions.

Remember – We are not rating the attractions here so don’t be alarmed if you don’t see your favourite attraction mentioned. If you’re interested in the ratings of each attraction at Epcot then you can view them here.

Epcot FastPass+ Recommendations for Families

Mickey Mouse at Epcot Character Spot

Here are our top three recommendations for families at Epcot:

  • Frozen Ever After
  • Meet Disney Pals at the Epcot Character Spot
  • The Seas with Nemo & Friends

Let’s explore the reasons for our choices…

Frozen Ever After

Though we have mentioned the overuse of Frozen at Disney Parks many times in the past, Frozen Ever After is an example of an attraction that Epcot was in desperate need of, an attraction for the whole family to enjoy.

The combination of the popularity of the franchise and it being a relatively new attraction at the park means that this is a must for getting a FastPass.

Meet Disney Pals at the Epcot Character Spot

This is the best location at the park to meet lots of characters all in the same place and the fact that you can FastPass it on top of Frozen is even better!

You and the kids can meet a variety of different characters at this spot that include:

  • Mickey Mouse
  • Minnie Mouse
  • Goofy
  • Joy
  • Sadness
  • Baymax

The Seas with Nemo & Friends

It is fair to say that throughout most of the year, a FastPass for this attraction isn’t required. That being said, it is worth picking up that third and final FastPass and this attraction is one that young children come away smiling from.

Family FastPass Alternatives

Though these are our recommended three, here are a few others we would recommend selecting from if you can’t get one or more of the above with the kids (not that we think this will be a problem at Epcot):

  • Journey into Imagination with Figment
  • Turtle Talk with Crush
  • Spaceship Earth

Epcot FastPass+ Recommendations for Adults

Mission Space exterior at Epcot

Here are our top three recommendations for adults or families with teens at Epcot:

  • Soarin’
  • Mission: Space
  • Spaceship Earth

Let’s explore the reasons for our choices…

Soarin’

This was actually a really tough call between Test Track and Soarin’ but guests can only choose between one from Tier 1 and Soarin’ wins out simply because the wait times are usually longer.

Mission: Space

Though it doesn’t quite feel as intense as it used to, Orange Team on Mission Space is still an attraction that has to be experienced. Though the line is never normally long for Mission Space, the same can be said for most Tier 2 attractions at Epcot and considering this is our list for adults, Mission Space naturally makes its way onto the list.

Spaceship Earth

We couldn’t not include one of Epcot’s original attractions on the list and though normally quiet, Spaceship Earth can get busy on occasions. This is still one of the best attractions at the park and can’t truly be appreciated until you are an adult and can understand all the nods to some of humans greatest moments.

Adult Epcot FastPass Alternatives

Though these are our recommended three for adults, here are a few others we would recommend selecting from if you can’t get one or more of the above:

  • Test Track
  • Living with the Land
  • IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth

Epcot FastPass+ Recommendations for the Busiest Attractions

Our three main recommendations here are based on the highest average wait times at Epcot with one attraction from Tier 1 and the others from Tier 2.

  • Frozen Ever After
  • Spaceship Earth
  • Mission: Space (Orange Team)

Busy Attraction FastPass Alternatives at Epcot

If all of the above are booked out for the day or you don’t fancy any in the list then here are the next three in order of highest average wait times:

  • Soarin’
  • Test Track
  • The Seas with Nemo & Friends

Theme Park Trader Epcot FastPass+ Recommendations

Throughout this list we have tried to keep our opinions out of it, this is the part where we get to let loose and make our own FastPass recommendations for Epcot.

  • Frozen Ever After
  • Spaceship Earth
  • Living with the Land

Here’s why we made the choices we did…

Frozen Ever After

While we actually prefer both Soarin’ and Test Track at Epcot, we usually rope drop Soarin’ and ride Test Track immediately after that. Frozen Ever After is the worst ride to queue for because of having the longest queue, and the only reason why it’s on the list ahead of the other two big rides. Frozen Ever After is a great attraction, though we still have a soft spot for Maelstrom!

Spaceship Earth

It’s an attraction we have been riding since a very young age and one that we will always grab a FastPass for (even though it might not always be required). It is one of the few attractions at Epcot that just perfectly sums up the original vision for the park and as the centrepiece for the park, it something that has to be experienced on every trip.

Living with the Land

Okay, we have a real love for Living with the Land and its another attraction at Epcot that just perfectly captures the original spirit of the park. We scored this attraction a 4/5 in our Epcot attractions guide and with good reason!
