I have always been a huge advocate of the way that Disney have tried to keep up with technology by implementing things such as MagicBands, Wi-FI in Walt Disney World and the My Disney Experience App. One of my frustrations was continually being asked to sign into the app at seemingly random points in the day, something that is pretty tricky if you have a long password and just want to check a reservation in the middle of queuing for a favourite attraction! While it was frustrating, security is key and I always understood the reason for having to do it.
However, Disney have recognised this as an issue and have now added the ability to be able to login to the app via Apple’s Touch ID.
All you need to do to enable this feature is ensure that the app has been updated, sign out and then as you are signing in check the box that says ‘Enable Touch ID’.
Once this has been done, the next time you need to login simply press on the password box to be prompted to then use your Touch ID to login!
