More Closures Hitting Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Disney has confirmed that yet ore closures are coming to Disney’s Hollywood Studios ahead of the extensive restructuring of the park to make way for the Toy Story and Star Wars expansions.

There are a number of attractions, dining locations and character meet and greets that will all be closing for the last time on April 2nd 2016.

The full list of closures:

While none of these closures are a real surprise to me (they are all sitting in the vicinity of the planned expansion) it is shocking to see that Disney are permanently removing the Earffel Tower, an icon of the park that has been in place for over 25 years!

It will also be a shame to see the back of the Lights, Motors, Action show simply because it is always packed out and isn’t really that old in the grand scheme of things.

This does bring the list of attractions at Disney’s Hollywood Studios to an all time low and it will be interesting to see how park attendance is impacted over the coming years when almost half the park is closed off for the construction of the new lands.

What are your thoughts on these closures?
