Universal have just begun their soft opening phase of the new Hello Kitty store that is located right by the front of the Universal Orlando park where the old Lucy Tribute space used to be.

This new location actually marks the first over retail store focussed on Hello Kitty in North America and inside the store guests can find speciality merchandise including:
- Home goods
- Accessories
- Clothing
- Stationery
- Collectibles
- Co-branded Hello Kitty and Universal merchandise is coming in the future
Other future enhancements to the store are set to include custom designed merchandise such as customised Hello Kitty bows and a meet and greet with Hello Kitty.
