Universal Orlando just released some brand new details on the upcoming Fast & Furious attraction that is set to debut next Spring.
Firstly, the story is an original creation for the attraction, with all the major actors from the franchise being involved in the creation of the ride.
Here are a few more additional details directly from Universal:
- For the first time ever, Tej (Chris “Ludacris” Bridges) and Mia (Jordana Brewster) will join the star-studded cast of the attraction, which includes Dom (Vin Diesel), Letty (Michelle Rodriguez), Hobbs (Dwayne Johnson), Roman (Tyrese Gibson) and criminal mastermind Owen Shaw (Luke Evans).
- Fast & Furious – Supercharged will be the only place where you can see – and even take photos with – 15 supercharged Fast & Furious cars – many of them driven by some of your favourite Fast family members. Each vehicle, including Dom’s iconic Dodge Charger and Letty’s Turbo Truck, has been crafted by Dennis McCarthy, the man behind the cars for the Fast & Furious films.
- You will be able to select a time to ride Fast & Furious – Supercharged via the Official Universal Orlando Resort Mobile App or at kiosks located near the attraction entrance.

While it is always great to see a new ride hitting the park, it is a shame in a way to see Universal keeping to the same pattern. The loading platform and ride experience seems very similar to Reign of Kong which of course isn’t too dissimilar to attractions like The Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man and Transformers: The Ride.
