Exciting news for those of us that have trips booked to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Walt Disney World as plans for the celebrations is set to be revealed later today on Good Morning America!
What we know so far:
- Cinderella Castle will be receiving 50th-anniversary decorations
- Mickey Mouse and Friends are getting costumes to celebrate
- Nighttime lighting or projection shows look to be confirmed for Tower of Terror, The Tree of Life and Spaceship Earth!

It remains to be seen whether anyone outside of the US can celebrate the anniversary in person on October 1st but take comfort in knowing that Disney is going to be celebrating this huge milestone for at least 12-18 months.
