Beginning today, Walt Disney World will begin testing a brand new virtual queuing system for both Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon. This comes ahead of when Universal begins rolling out the system at Volcano Bay in May.
The test is similar to how Disney have implemented the pager system at Dumbo and will run across new attraction Miss Adventure Falls at Typhoon lagoon and will include Downhill Double Dipper, Slush Gusher and Summit Plummet at Blizzard Beach.
Virtual queuing allows you to reserve a spot in line without actually standing there so you can go and enjoy your day in the parks.
The test runs until April 7th but if successful I would expect to see Disney roll this out across both its water parks and look at implementation in other areas.
