Disney has just recently revealed that despite the rumours, The Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights will return in 2015!
The dates for this years event are November 6 2015 through to January 3 2016 so there is plenty of time to get over to Disney’s Hollywood Studios to enjoy the show.
Of course the big rumours before this announcement were that we wouldn’t see the lights at all this year, given that Hollywood Studios is set to get a huge overhaul in the coming years, (something I hope we will learn more about at D23 in August). The good news is that at least for 2015 The Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights is back, I am even more excited this year as it will be the first year I am heading to Walt Disney World in November so will be able to view them in person!
Given the rumours circulating that Pixar and Star Wars will be given a much larger real estate as part of the new redesigned Hollywood Studios (a name change was also confirmed by Bob Iger), it makes sense to use the space that simply goes unused for most of the year within Streets of America.
