Big Thunder Mountain Closing for Refurbishment at WDW

Much to my disappointment (as I will be there for 2 weeks in October) from tomorrow Big Thunder Mountain will be closed at the Magic Kingdom from tomorrow (August 8th) until November 18th 2016.

While the attraction will of course be getting all the normal maintenance required during a refurbishment of this size, there are rumours going around that Disney are adding special effects to the last lift-hill on the attraction, should be exciting if this is the case!
