Although I haven’t had the chance to try one of the food trucks at Downtown Disney as of yet (they weren’t open at any point when I was in Walt Disney World in April) I have heard good things, AJ from Disney Food Blog covers them extensively here and was the first to spot the trucks at the resort hotels here.

The last place I would expect to see something like this appear is one of the more deluxe hotels within Walt Disney World but as it turns out Disney are currently testing the introduction of food trucks at the Swan and Dolphin.

Currently they can only be found on weekends along the main causeway. The food trucks spotted so far are:

The beverages on the menu consist of:

  • Cafe Mocha
  • Cappuccino
  • Caramel Macchiato
  • Hot tea
  • Caffe Latte
  • Americano
  • Iced coffee
  • Skinny vanilla latte

The usual drinks such as water and soda options are also available.

If you are looking for a light snack you can also grab: cli

  • Mini eclair (assorted flavours)
  • Mini cupcakes (assorted flavours)
  • Cookie
  • Brownie
  • Italian ice push pop (comes in cherry, strawberry, lemon or mango flavour)

Drinks are:

  • Cigar City Maduro craft beer
  • Cigar City Jai Alai IPA craft beer

  • Bottled water and soft drinks

The Oasis

The final stop is centred around frozen drinks and beer. The menu includes:

  • Pina Colada frozen drink
  • Strawberry Daquiri frozen drink
  • Mango Daquiri frozen drink
  • Caipirinha (cachaca, lime, sugar)
  • Caipirissima (rum, lime, grapes, sugar)
  • Caipiroska (vodka, lime, sugar and fresh strawberries)
  • Corona Extra
  • Corona Light
  • Amstel Light
  • Heineken
  • Bottled water, root beer and various soft drinks

I for one think all of these four truck stops sound absolutely fantastic and I hope they will still be there when I am back in Walt Disney World later this year. Keep in mind there is a chance that Disney are just testing these out in the short term and they may not stay around for long, let us know in the comments below if you make it to try one of these!
