CEO Bob Iger has just moments ago confirmed that Pandora – The World of Avatar will open at Disney’s Animal Kingdom on May 27th!
This is much, much earlier than I thought the land would be ready by, my assumption that Disney would have this ready by late June/early July at the earliest, a May opening is fantastic!
I expect Disney are hoping to attract the summer crowd with this May opening date and of course this opening competes directly with Volcano Bay, opening just two days before on May 25th!
I am really looking forward to seeing this new land at Disney’s Animal Kingdom and what new attractions, shops and restaurants are in store for us in May!
As a reminder, the land will opening with Na’vi River Journey and Avatar Flight of Passage alongside Satu’li Canteen, Pongu Pongu and Windtraders.
