Strong rumours are circulating at the moment that a Wreck-It Ralph VR attraction is going to be replacing Stitch’s Great Escape in Tomorrowland.

It would seem that the attraction will be set inside the game Sugar Rush and will put guests inside one of the racing cars with a virtual reality headset that takes them inside the world of Wreck-It Ralph.

The concept of this sounds awesome and would be a welcome addition over Stitch’s Great Escape, an attraction that is often regarded as one of the worst attractions in Walt Disney World’s history. I wouldn’t personally go as far as that, but considering Stitch is my favourite Disney character the attraction really doesn’t do him any justice, I would certainly welcome the change!

While this might seem like an extremely odd attraction to put in Tomorrowland, remember that the movie is set inside various different arcade machines so could potentially fit in if done correctly. There are also lots of rumours going around that Tomorrowland is going to be receiving quite a large transformation in the next few years that will be ready in time for Magic Kingdoms 50th anniversary in 2021. Wreck-It Ralph could be a part of these plans.

What would you think to a Wreck-It Ralph themed attraction in Tomorrowland?
