It would seem that the Universal (Hogwarts express) train is showing no signs of stopping with another hotel announced today by Universal Orlando!

Aventura Hotel will be opening at the resort in 2018 and is set to be the sixth hotel on property. You can see the very first piece of concept art for the hotel below:

The Orlando Sentinel reported that the hotel would have meeting spaces but would not include the complimentary Express Pass access that some of the other Universal Orlando hotels offer. This seems to suggest that this hotel would be more of a “value” resort, though this is yet to be confirmed.

The positive is that guests will still be granted early admission to theme parks by staying at the Aventura Hotel.

Universal Orlando is growing at an alarming rate and it wouldn’t surprise me if we saw an announcement of a fourth theme park (if you include Volcano Bay) in the very near future. Especially when you think that Universal still hasn’t done anything with the Nintendo agreement in Florida and that six hotels for 2 parks and a water park does seem a bit overkill.

More on Aventura Hotel as soon as I hear anything!
