Beetlejuice’s Graveyard Revue is one of Universal’s longest standing shows, opening in May 1992 the show has long since been one of the most popular shows at the park.
Since Universal announced back in August that the show would be closing to make way for Fast & Furious: Supercharged there has been huge fan outcry for the attraction to remain open.
Experiencethegraveyard.com was put together by fans to try and gain enough signatures to keep the attraction open for as long as possible. While unfortunately fans couldn’t keep the attraction open indefinitely, efforts have postponed the closure until January 5th 2016.
The show was actually due to close today so Universal have extended the show by around a month. The exclusive passholder show that was due to take place today has been moved to January 5th.
While I am not convinced a Fast & Furious attraction can stand the test of time at Universal Orlando, I do think that change is good and a run of 23 years is nothing to be ashamed of. Here’s to a good run Beetlejuice!
