Beaches Reopen at Walt Disney World

News came through this week that following on from the tragic alligator attack the beaches had finally reopened at Walt Disney World. Unfortunately there are now some pretty strict rules in place and Dan and I discuss these in some detail in the first story of the week.

You can find these rules in our blog post on the beaches reopening at WDW.

Universal Studios Hollywood Announces 5 Year Expansion Plan

We chat through our thoughts on exactly what Universal Studios could be planning in this five year expansion plan and we also talk through the space that they will be making available through this expansion.

First Details on Universal Orlando’s Volcano Bay

Universal Orlando revealed a whole host of information this week on the upcoming water park, Volcano Bay (which you can read more about in our blog post here). Dan and I discuss all of the announcements so far and why we are excited to see this park when it opens in 2017.

Two Teens Break into Blackpool Pleasure Beach Theme Park

That’s right, only in Britain would it be possible to break into a theme park at 4am and ride a rollercoaster for a good 30 minutes before being caught. That’s exactly what happened at Blackpool Pleasure Beach and Dan and I chat through this rather amusing news story.

More on the Blackpool Pleasure Beach break-in.

For the First Time in Forever… Frozen Ever After Opens!

We chat through our thoughts on what we have seen of the attraction so far including the awesome animatronics and new area and also discuss the whopping five hour wait time that occurred on opening day last week.

You can find more on the Frozen Ever After opening in our blog post that covered the event here.

Mexico Opens Early for Breakfast at Epcot

I always thought this one was going to happen (as you have to walk through Mexico to get to Norway) but last week Disney officially confirmed that the Mexican Pavilion would also be open from 9am on a daily basis at Epcot.

On top of this came the information that La Cantina de San Angel would be serving breakfast! We chat through our thoughts on the very odd (but great sounding) breakfast menu.

More on the breakfast offering here.

Top 3 and Worst 3 Attractions at Epcot

Considering the big news at Epcot these past few weeks with Frozen Ever After, Soarin’ Around the World and the Mexican Pavilion offering breakfast we thought it would be fun to continue the series of choosing our top 3 and worst 3 attractions at the parks.

Lets just say our lists were pretty interesting this time round and we may have made some enemies by one of us selecting The American Adventure in our list of worst attractions!

If you enjoyed this weeks podcast, have ideas for future shows or have any questions about any of the stories then feel free to leave us a comment below! Oh and if you agree or disagree with our lists, we would love to know!
