Cobra’s Curse Opening Date Announced

Dan and I chat through the opening date being confirmed for this coming Friday on June 17. We chat through the videos shown off so far (which you can see below). More details on Cobra’s Curse can be found on my blog pos here.

Full Video POV of Reign of Kong

We chat through our thoughts on the ride and one again the conversation leads onto Universal potentially overusing 3D in their attractions.

You can watch the full video POV below, let us know if you agree with our thoughts on Kong in the comments below!

Disney Vacation Club Lounge opens at Epcot

We chat through our vibes from looking at the new DVC Lounge that has just opened up in the Imagination Pavilion at Epcot.

Take a look for yourself but we felt it was a bit pointless due to the lack of an actual bar, character meet and greet and its overuse of 80s.

More on the new lounge here.

New Slide coming to Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon and Premium parking at Disney Water Parks

For the first time in over 10 years it would seem that plans are in place to bring about a brand new attraction to Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon.

Dan and I discuss our thoughts on this and the introduction of premium parking at Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach (hint, we think it is a rubbish idea).

More on these stories here and here.

New Paid Evening Safari Coming to Animal Kingdom

Dan and I discuss the very expensive introduction of Savor the Savannah at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, the nighttime answer to Wild Africa Trek.

While we both thought it sounded like a fantastic idea, the price may get in the way of either of us going.

More on the evening safari here.

Skipper Canteen Now Taking Dining Reservations

Bad news for those fans that like to just turn up on the day to get seated at a fantastic sit down restaurant as Skipper Canteen moves to 180 day reservations.

Dan and I discuss this as well as The Plaza Restaurant moving away from reservations and towards a turn up on the day strategy.

Walking Dead Returns to Halloween Horror Nights

We end this weeks podcast by discussing the very unsurprising announcement that The Walking Dead is coming back to Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios this year.
