Disney has been rolling out openings of Starbucks for a while now and has announced what can only be assumed as the last Starbucks location opening date for Walt Disney World. There is currently one at the Magic Kingdom Park, Hollywood Studios and Epcot and two Starbucks locations within Downtown Disney.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom Starbucks will be opening on June 18 2015 in the location of the former Creature Comforts gift shop in Discovery Island.
This new Starbucks locations will offer the same beverages, pastries and breakfast options as the other park locations. The good news is that with this new location guests won’t be missing out on Disney food options as has been the case in the Main Street Bakery and Fountain View at Epcot.
The downside to this is that as a result of this new location, the Pizzafari restaurant at Disney’s Animal Kingdom will no longer be serving breakfast.
I am all for these Starbucks opening up within Walt Disney World it is just a shame when Disney have to remove great items from the menu (like the entire ice-cream offering at Fountain View) in order to make it happen.
