Last night Disney aired ‘The Wonderful World of Disney: Disneyland 60’ special on ABC. Harrison Ford was on hand to reveal new details on the upcoming Star Wars Land coming to both Disneyland and Disney’s Hollywood Studios!
Millenium Falcon Attraction
Though the news on this was limited, what we did learn was that this new attraction will allow guests to take a ride in the Falcon and will be an interactive ride. Guests will have the opportunity to pilot the falcon and also give you control of the guns!
Disney also revealed a tonne of new concept art from the attraction:
Attraction featuring a battle between the First Order and the Resistance
While not much has been revealed on this new attraction, Disney very quickly revealed details on an attraction that would contain battle sequences between the First Order and the Resistance. Once again, Disney had some concept art to go alongside this:
Star Wars Land Marketplaces and Cantina
Disney also revealed that Star Wars Land will feature themed marketplaces and environments where guests can interact with different aliens and droids, it is also likely to be the place where all the merchandise is going to be at!
There was also talk of a dinner show and a Star Wars Cantina making its way to Star Wars Land though it obviously won’t be the same cantina as seen in the original trilogy considering we won’t be on Tatooine.
A dinner show sounds awesome and the concept art for both the market area and the cantina look great:
