With Mobile Ordering debuting at Pandora – The World of Avatar on May 27th, Disney has just announced that the service will be expanding to other restaurants at Disney’s Animal Kingdom later in the summer.

The service (for those that missed our original post) will allow guests to order and purchase food via a mobile device before getting to the restaurant. The aim here is that he queue to order food is skipped entirely. All of this is done via the My Disney Experience app.

Three more counter service restaurants are set to be included in Mobile Order:

  • Flame Tree Barbecue
  • Pizzafari
  • Restaurantosaurus

Unfortunately, Disney are yet to announced anything other than card payment for this advanced booking service, no word yet if and when redemption of Disney Dining Plan credits will be an option in the future.

If successful at Disney’s Animal Kingdom you can bet Disney will begin rolling this out to its other parks later in 2017.
