Today SeaWorld opened their new version of the popular Kraken coaster, Kraken Unleashed.
Unleashed adds virtual reality into the attraction and if you can’t wait to ride the brand new experience you can view it below:
Given the mixed reception to virtual reality in theme park attractions in the past it will be interesting to see how well this new version of Kraken goes down with guests.
The storyline looks great but I have to admit I will miss the views of the park gained from Kraken and VR technology still has a long way to go until it looks realistic enough to be believable.
